Identify the information needed to make impactful decisions
We will first focus on verifying that you are tracking the right information. We do this by taking a deep dive into the data you currently collect. Once we understand the story the data tells, we work with your team to identify how to adress the information gaps and redundancies so that you have the data you need to make timely, accurate business decisions.
Verify the correct information is being captured
Once we have identified the data you want to capture, we then make sure the data is being captured. We do this by analyzing the routes and rounds being performed by your operators, mechanics, and condition monitoring teams. We focus on gathering this data at the ground level by physically walking down the routes with your teams to understand and appreciate what is typically being covered. This includes which asset, what inspections, who is inspecting and what technologies re being used.
We then evaluate the effectiveness of the current inspections by using site failure data or FMEA’s to identify the most common failure modes in your assets and identifying any gaps and redundancies in the current regimen. An effective, efficient and practical program will be tailored to your site to ensure the right skill sets and frequencies are chosen to inspect for the failure modes we wish to control.
Ensure the frequency of data collection is accurate
After the right data is being captured by the right people, we then evaluate to ensure that the correct frequencies and technologies are being used. We let the data tell the story and tailor the program(s) to fit the shift schedules and resources available.
